TCCC Combat Medic/Corpsman (TCCC CMC) is a 63-hour course for combat medics, corpsmen, pararescue personnel and other military medical personnel being deployed into combat. This course is intended to train participants to provide more advanced prehospital casualty care than is taught in the ASM or CLS courses. Instruction includes the use of advanced medical equipment and knowledge in the management of life-threatening injuries commonly encountered on the battlefield.

Tactical Combat Casualty Care for Medical Personnel (TCCC-MP)

Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) is developed by the U.S. Department of Defense Defense Health Agency (DHA) Joint Trauma System to teach  evidence-based, life-saving techniques and strategies for providing the best trauma care on the battlefield.

  • TCCC-MP (TCCC for Medical Personnel) is a 16-hour course for military medical personnel  including medics, corpsmen, and pararescue personnel deploying in support of combat operations.

  • These lifesaving techniques have great applicability in the setting of civilian EMS as discussed in The Hartford Consensus.

The World is daily becoming ever more violent.  Sadly public safety personnel are often the targets of violence from various threats, including patients, family members and bystanders. Additionally catastrophic events involving terrorism and workplace violence are becoming so frequent that it is becoming understood that it will be a matter of “when, not if” it will happen in your community.  This conference will present several different topics with the overall terminal objective of raising awareness of the specific concerns related to Public Safety Operations in an ever more violent environment.

Tactical Emergency Casualty Care

Developed by NAEMT’s Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Committee, the TECC program is based on the guidelines from the Committee on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (Co-TECC) and the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) program.

TECC uses lessons learned from our military and applies them to the civilian world of tactical medicine.

This 16-hour course covers topics designed to decrease preventable death in the tactical situation.
